3月19-20日，第六届全国高等学校外语教育改革与发展高端论坛在北京举行。中宣部国际传播局副局长陈雪亮、教育部高等教育司副司长武世兴和中国原驻英国大使查培新等出席活动并作报告。来自北京外国语大学、浙江大学、中山大学、天津外国语大学和我校等全国千余所高校的外语教育同仁相聚于云端，就大学英语人才培养体系、课程思政建设，英语类专业学科发展、国际传播力培养，数字新基建，多语种教育，教材建设，教学赛事和学术话语体系构建等外语教育改革与发展热点话题分九场专题论坛进行了探讨交流。

我院院长王浩勇教授应邀作了题为“以新文科建设为抓手，建设特色鲜明的高水平外语专业”专题交流发言。发言中，王浩勇教授介绍了我校的悠久办学历史及在新文科建设背景下，紧跟国家人才培养战略需要形成的“外语+农业”“外语+思政”“外语+实践”的鲜明外语人才培养特色。分享了我校依托农科优势，开展教学实践活动，培养既有扎实英语语言功底，又掌握农业科技知识的复合型人才；突出立德树人，结合我校享誉全国的“太行山道路”、“太行山精神”和“李保国精神”在慕课建设、教材开发、课堂讲授中拓宽课程思政建设思路；以及在人才培养过程中强化实践实习“四年不断线”等方式深入推进外语教育“入主流，强特色”的典型做法。王浩勇教授的发言引发了与会专家、教师的广泛关注，纷纷表示我校的典型做法为当前新文科建设提供了有益的发展思路。

The Sixth National High-end Forum on Foreign Language Education Reform and Development For Higher Education Institutions was held from March 19 to 20 in Beijing. Chen Xueliang, deputy director of the International Communication Bureau at the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Wu Shixing, deputy director of the Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, and Zha Peixin, former Chinese ambassador to the UK, attended the forum and gave keynote reports. Representatives from over 1000 universities all over the country, including Beijing Foreign Studies University, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Hebei Agricultual University (HEBAU) and so forth, gathered on the internet and exchanged views on the construction of training system for Non-English Majors, the construction of ideological and political curriculum, the development of disciplines and specialties for English Major, the training of international communication, new digital infrastructure, multilingual education and textbook construction, teaching events and the construction of academic discourse system and other hot issues about the reform and development of China’s foreign language education on nine thematic forums.

    Professor Wang Haoyong, dean of College of Foreign Languaes of HEBAU, was invited to make a speech entitled Promoting the New Liberal Arts, Constructing High level Foreign Language Majors. Apart from the long glorious history of HEBAU, he recommended the distinctive characteristics in foreign language talent training formed in line with the national talent training strategies, such as the constrction of foreign languages and agriculture, ideology and practice. He also shared the experience that How HEBAU took advantage of agricultural disciplines and carried out various practice activies to foster inter-disciplinary talents who have a good command of English as well as basic agricultural scientific and technological knowledge. He highlighted the importance of morality in talent training, and inspired by the national famous “Taihang Mountain Road”, “Taihang Mountain Spirit” and “Li Baoguo Spirit” of AUH, the great achievments made by AUH in the development of Moocs, the compilation of textbooks and the construction of ideological and political curriculum, and the typical practice of strengthening the “Four-year Sustainable Developement” in the process of talent training to further promote the “integrating into the mainstream and strengthening the teaching features in foreign language education. Professor Wang's speech has attracted wide attention from experts and teachers online and they said that the practices of HEBAU have provided useful ideas for the current construction of new liberal arts.(译者：英语18级彭丁阳,指导教师：李艳玲)
